Our Mudding Process
Each coat is applied, dried, and sanded before the next — there are no shortcuts to a smooth wall.
Coat by Coat Finishing
We apply joint compound (mud) over drywall seams, screw dimples, and corners using industry-standard techniques. The tape coat embeds the tape, the fill coat builds the surface flush, and the finish coat creates the final smooth plane. We finish with careful sanding so walls are ready for primer.
Corners & Details
Inside and outside corners are where amateur mudding shows first. We use paper and metal corner beads set plumb and level, then build clean, straight corner lines. Butt joints — where two non-tapered board ends meet — get the extra care they demand.
